  • Agathe Dupart is a primary school teacher in Lyon, France. Prior to that she worked in the Crow Museum of Asian Art in Dallas, TX as a program manager. She holds a B.A. In Asian Studies from Austin College, TX, USA. And an M.A. In teaching education from Université Claude Bernard, Lyon, France. She is an AFS USA alumna, and an SIT Yunnan alumna.

  • Butler Looney is a graphic designer and creative director with a passion for helping brands tell their story. He has worked with companies such as Headspace, Nike, Nestlé, and many others over his more than twenty year career. Based in San Francisco, California, Butler also has a keen interest in food that he shares with his wife and son.

  • Chris has 25 years of experience in international development, including extensive work in post-conflict reconstruction and development in the Balkans. He has held senior communications, government relations, and private sector development positions with the World Bank Group, USAID, European Commission, and UN-affiliated organisations, with assignments in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

    Chris has been Special Advisor to the Royal Family of Jaipur since 2013, advsing the Maharaja, the family, and the palace administration on the management of the City Palace complex, the Jaigarh Fort, the Rajmahal Palace Hotel, and the family’s other commercial, philanthropic, and cultural heritage preservation initiatives.

  • James Potter has been a volunteer for Live to Love for 13 years. He is an entrepreneur, currently Principal of Rockwood XLI, LLC, an advisory firm in the natural resource space, and is active in tech and private equity ventures. Prior to Rockwood XLI he co-founded an education technology consulting firm, upublic LLC. James is a graduate of Columbia Business School and a lover of travel and the Himalayas, and Corgis. James is also a director on the board of Drukpa North America, Inc.

  • Katie Lewis Patala is a Senior Vice President at Mercury, a public strategy firm, where she executes high-profile public affairs campaigns on behalf of foreign governments, multilateral institutions, NGOs, and companies seeking to advance their policy, political, and branding goals in the U.S. and internationally. Katie specializes in crafting stakeholder engagement and government relations strategies that enhance clients’ public profiles, increase awareness of and cultivate allies in support of their most important issues, and initiate partnerships that provide them with the competitive edge necessary for today’s global and fast-paced environment. Originally from Oxford, Mississippi, Katie attended New York University.

  • Rohan is a senior energy and infrastructure leader with a 21-year global track record in fund management, fund formation, project development, private equity, and project finance. He's invested in, and financed 75+ clean energy projects worldwide totaling $21 billion, working mainly with smaller developers and earlier stage platforms. Rohan led NextEnergy Capital’s $750 million global clean energy fund, originated and invested in 800+ MW of solar and wind projects at Sonnedix and Sol-Wind, was the former global head of emerging markets project finance at SunEdison, as well as the former head of $400mm clean energy principal investments at HSH Nordbank.

  • Serena has been a volunteer with Live to Love since 2009. She has over 8 years of experience in the Climate, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and technology space. Serena currently works as a Manager of Investor Practice with Asian financial institutions to create action and awareness on the financial risks and opportunities associated with climate and net zero investing. She is experienced in helping organizations embed sustainability best practice in their long-term strategy.

    Serena holds a MSc in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Bristol, UK, a Professional Certificate in Corporate Finance from Columbia Business School (online) and certifications in the areas of responsible investing and impact investing.

International Team

  • Pem has been affiliated with Live to Love since 2008 and has been serving as the President since September 2017. She is currently the Managing Partner for the following group of companies - Bhutan Travel Bhutan, Bhutan Suites, Hotel Bhutan, Bhutan Dragonfly Tours and Travel and Bhutan Travel Bureau Ticketing- in the hospitality business.

    Prior to that, she served in the United Nations in Pakistan and Bhutan for over 13 years. She is passionate about traveling, meeting people and working together to give back to grassroots communities.

    Pem has Master of Arts degree in Development Studies, specializing in Human Resources and Employment, from the Institute of Social Studies, Den Haag, The Netherlands and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Human Communications from Hunter College, City University of New York, NY, USA.

  • Swaraj Singh Rajput is a portfolio manager with a background in computer engineering, with specific expertise in equity analysis and valuation, machine learning, and accounting. He is currently working as a Finance and Administrative associate at Live to Love International. He has developed multiple startup applications including Flight Fare Price Protection and Sentiment analysis using Natural Language Processing. Swaraj is a graduate of the University of Pune, and an avid tennis fan.
