The Naropa Fellowship

In the Indian Himalayas, the Naropa Fellows lead their communities in green innovation and resiliency building. As Live to Love's flagship project, the Naropa Fellowship is a one-year residential program driving green and inclusive entrepreneurship.

As the next generation of leaders, the Naropa Fellows create ventures in the Himalayas, where unemployment, climate change and gender disparities are threatening lives and livelihoods. From bringing water in drought-struck villages, empowering rural women as agro-entrepreneurs, upcycling plastic waste for greenhouses, to preserving indigenous art and heritage, the Fellows are revolutionizing the Himalayan landscape.

Despite the pandemic, the program has trained and incubated 159 social entrepreneurial ventures with world-class faculty and mentorship support. In its annual Impact Summit, the Fellows garnered support of highly sought-after angel investors and seed funders from around the world.

The Naropa Fellowship began with a vision to retain talent and empower communities. Today, these torchbearers of social impact and sustainability are building an ecosystem of entrepreneurs and inspiring socio-economic growth across the Himalayas.
